HALO’S HOLIDAY BLANKET DRIVE
Each year, Black Friday kicks-off our Holiday Dog Blanket Drive. With just a few weeks to get the word out, we strive to donate as many new fleece blankets as possible, to local nonprofit shelter/rescue organizations by Dec. 31st. Imagine how your Holiday Gift of a warm, fuzzy, fleece blanket will feel for a shelter dog in need during the cold winter months ahead.
Each Fleece Blanket is a $5.00 donation and you can choose to donate as many blankets as you like. All Donations can be purchased online via debit card / credit card / PayPal® (see link below). All proceeds benefit qualified non-profit shelter organization(s) each year in December. Let’s make this a record breaking year for Halo’s Holiday Blanket Drive and bring some warmth and comfort to some dogs who are counting on your kindness and generosity this Holiday Season.

2021: Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL)
Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (also known as ‘VSAWL’) was founded in 1972 by a group of women that saw an increasing need for animal-oriented programs along the shoreline of Connecticut. The League now owns and operates a no-kill shelter that serves as an adoption facility for dogs and cats.
VSAWL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated by a Board of Directors. A caring, dedicated staff and number of volunteers handle the daily operations of the shelter. At the shelter they welcome and encourage visitors and group tours. We are always happy to educate and share what we do with our shoreline community.
