At Lion Star Design Firm, Dogs Rule! You can always expect to see a few canine friends in and about the Lion Star Office. Holly’s Brindle-mix, Halo, will likely be around to greet you at the door with her wagging tail and exuberant smile. In the studio, Susan’s Golden-mix, Dixie, enjoys nothing more than hanging out with mom by a window in the sunshine.

Dogs have given us all so much, that we feel the need to pitch-in and give back. That’s why Lion Star Design Firm offers FREE Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, and Web Services to all qualifying nonprofit dog shelter and rescue organizations.

Each year, Black Friday kicks-off our Holiday Dog Blanket Drive. With just a few weeks to get the word out, we strive to donate as many new fleece blankets as possible, to local nonprofit shelter/rescue organizations by Dec. 31st. Imagine how your Holiday Gift of a warm, fuzzy, fleece blanket will feel for a shelter dog in need during the cold winter months ahead.

Each Fleece Blanket is a $6.00 donation and you can choose to donate as many blankets as you like. All Donations can be purchased online via debit card / credit card / PayPal®. All proceeds benefit qualified non-profit shelter organization(s) each year in December. Let’s make this a record breaking year for Halo’s Holiday Blanket Drive and bring some warmth and comfort to some dogs who are counting on your kindness and generosity this Holiday Season.

The Ties & Tails Gala is traditionally a formal fund raising event that benefits The Humane Society. Gala’s feature a video presentation introducing guests to some local dogs in need of forever homes. Some of the them join the party for a meet & greet appearance and yes, it’s true, some dogs even dress for the occasion… just adorable!

The Ties & Tails Gala features: Champagne, Hors D’ovres, Cocktail Bar, Live Auction, Dinner, Live Music, Dancing and Valet Parking.

THE HBO Documentary One Nation Under Dog is a complicated and unwavering story that explores our relationship with dogs. PAWS New England had the honor of working closely with director Ellen Goosenberg Kent on this project.
